VicinityAR is an android based augmented reality application which helps users know their surroundings better.
We augment information related to nearby restaurants , coffee shops , grocery stores whenever the user's direction aligns with the direction of the landmark.
Another part of the application augments navigation information to reach a destination within a building.
This is done using Beacon Technology by picking up nearby beacon signal and directing the user to the destination in the shortest possible way.
Once the user reaches the destination, he can scan a unique image of the destination and get more details about the destination which is again augmented.
